COVER REVEAL - Changing His Game by Justine Elvira

So, today is the day when you all can finally see the cover for Changing His Game, the new book written by Justine Elvira. It will be released on January 6th! Mark that day in your calender, you don't wanna miss that.
And don't stop reading after you see the cover, there will be an awesome excerpt down there.

Synopsis:

*Warning: This book is for mature readers ages 18 and up. It contains sex, sex, and more sex with a porn star. It briefly touches on M/F/M and M/F/F.

Adult Films. XXX Movies. Porn.

These are the kind of movies I've never planned to watch. It was a taboo topic where I grew up. As a kid I had only heard of it in passing. In middle school my parents would talk about my creepy uncle Frank and how he should look for a job instead of watching "those movies" all day. In High School boys thought it was funny to ask my friends and me to star in the amateur adult films they were making. In college most of my guy friends watched them, but I never had. When I moved to California that changed.

After surprising my fiancé at home and catching him screwing another woman, I hopped in my car and started driving. I was running away from my old life and I needed a change. I remembered my friend Tawny inviting me to visit her in Los Angeles, so that's where I went.

I didn’t find Tawny when I got there, but I did find her gorgeous roommate, Jared. Our friendship started out rough, but he gave me a place to stay and helped me get back on my feet. He became my best friend. My best friend who millions of women happened to lust over.

Jared plays by a different set of rules, where anything goes. His lifestyle is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before and it scares me. When you live your life on the edge, eventually you'll fall over. I didn't want to see that happen to him.

At night he’s just Jared, my Jared, and I’ll deny it to anyone who asks, but I’m completely in love with him. During the day he’s Brandon Boner, and the world is in love with him.

Oh yeah, did I mention he’s a porn star?

This looks pretty awesome, huh?! Yes, and now read the excerpt below!

Excerpt:

"Umm... How many sexual partners have you had?" I ask, deciding to turn the tables on him and see how he likes it.
"You want a number? I've never counted," Jared replies cockily.
"I'm not asking for the exact number, just a ballpark estimate. How many partners have you had?"
I watch him as he goes over my question in his head. He looks adorable right now. He's freshly showered and wearing gray sweatpants with a basic white t-shirt. He's not wearing socks, but he has on gray slippers that look like something my grandfather would wear.
"Somewhere between two and three thousand."
I'm stupidly taking a sip of my drink as he says a number I've never expected to hear come out of any person's mouth. My lips part as I spit my soda out in front of me, and it lands all over my lap. Jared jumps from the couch and leaves the room, only to come back with some paper towels. I clean myself up the best I can and sit back on the couch to face him.
"Two to three thousand partners? How is that possible?"
"Well, I had slept with a few girls before I got into this business at nineteen. My first year in porn, I shot a couple different movies each day and never took a day off. Each movie was with a different girl. Some scenes were with two girls. I shot a couple gangbangs and orgies. It slowed down after the first year, because I could start making demands based off my popularity. Now I only shoot four or five scenes a week. A lot of the films I do now are with people I've made films with before, so those don't count. Add all my film partners up, plus the woman I fuck for fun, I'd say between two and three thousand chicks."
Just the thought of that number disgusts me. Any attraction I had for him just went out the window. How could someone sleep with that many people? Sex is supposed to be special, between two people who care about each other. To Jared, it's the same as having a conversation with someone. The act of making love to a woman is not important to him.
"Wow... umm, okay."
"Now it's your turn. How many people have you slept with?" Jared asks me, repeating his question from before.
"One," I answer proudly.
"One? So you may not be a virgin, but my conclusion of you looking virginal isn't that far off."
"Sex is important to me, it should be special. I can't just have sex with anyone," I say, needing him to understand where I'm coming from.
"You're making it more than it has to be. We're all mammals who have basic needs. One of those needs is to fuck each other's brains out. Some women misconstrue that and want to make it more than it is, but it's not. Sex is a part of our human nature. We should be able to be with whoever we want in order to get our urges met. If I see a woman I'm attracted to, I make it my job to fuck her, because that's what my dick wants."

Precious Consequences is LIVE!

Yes, it's here. Precious Consequences by Tamsyn Bester is LIVE!

All it took was one night to change the rest of my life.

One night that created irrevocable consequences.

But some consequences aren’t all bad.

They can be amazing…beautiful… Precious.

I willingly accepted those consequences and wrote a new plan for my life. But that plan didn’t include Cameron Argent – the sexy-as-sin tattooed playboy who got under my skin the moment I laid eyes on him. I was headed down a dark and dangerous road where he was concerned and in the end, our relationship was inevitable. Despite our dark secrets, our feelings for each other burned brighter than a thousand stars and left us both naked, vulnerable.

But when my past came rolling back into my life like a Summer storm, I wasn’t sure if his love for me was enough.
Was he prepared to deal with the consequences of a past I couldn’t regret or would he walk away with my beating heart in his hands?

(This is a New Adult Contemporary Romance novel & contains language & adult situations. Not recommended for readers younger than 17)

If you need some reasons to buy the book, check out the reviews that are already up on Goodreads here and there are some teasers here and on Tamsyn's Facebook page.

Be passionate about something in your life

Today in one of my Literature classes our professor said something that had me thinking about the past few weeks. About what changed and mostly about how I changed. I guess we all know that Literature is a lot about reading so she warned us that we will read. A lot. And that anyone who doesn't enjoy reading, talking about books or doesn't like books from past centuries, should reconsider taking this class. Most of the people are taking that class because we have to. Because we need it to get our degree. Because it's something someone expects from us. Most of the people in that class want to be teachers later. Most of us. But not all. She said that those who don't feel that fire in them about what they're doing, who aren't passionate about what they're doing can never succeed.
You can be good at something someone expects from you. Your parents, your grandparents, your friends, maybe even your professors; but you will never love it. You will never feel that fire because it's not there. It's no inside of you. And how could it be, you don't love what you're doing. You do it because you have to. It has nothing to do with passion. But what is life without passion? It's just being. It's not living. Any of us has this one thing in life we're passionate about. That one thing that lights the fire inside of us.
I knew since I was a kid that I love books. I love reading, I always carry a book around (or now my kindle). It's my passion and I took it to another phase during these last few months. I got a chance and I made the most of it. And now that passion isn't only books, it's editing. For me it's that one thing (besides reading for fun and music) that makes me feel better. I love it. I love talking about books, I love trying to help authors and it's helping myself, too. I learn a lot by reading and editing books for my own writing.
So what I wanted to say is, my professor is right. She had me thinking about her words the whole day. You need this fire inside of you, the passion about something that means so much to you that it brightens your day. If you don't have that fire, think about what it could be. Be brave enough to change your life if that is what it takes.
I, for myself, can say that it helps. It helps a lot to know how to light this fire. I needed it and I found it just when I needed it the most. I try to make the most of it, and I'm grateful for every single chance I get. I found out a few weeks ago how important it is to be passionate about something, and the words of our professor, which she told us in a very passionate and touching way, opened my eyes even further.

Thank you!

If you never try you'll never know – This kind of became my motto in trying to make my dreams come true.

I tried and I found out that there are people out there who are willing to help you reach your goals in life. They will make your life better despite those who never believed in you and told you you can't. They support you and you will find out that you can do it. You simply need the right people for that.

I found those people and I want to thank the greatest supporters so far:

First Tamsyn Bester – Thank you so much for trusting me with your hard work and giving me my first chance in editing. It is so good to work with you and I'm always looking forward to emails from you. While editing Beneath Your Beautiful (btw you should all read that book it's so good), I realized how much I love doing what I do. It means a lot to me when an author trusts me with their work and I know how much work it is to write a book. Thank you, and I'm so glad you like my work and I hope we'll work together for a long time.

Now, Justine Elvira – Thank you, too. I sent you a message offering my help and I never really believed that you would accept it and that made it even better when you decided to accept my offer and I was able to edit not one or two, but three books for you. It means so much to me and I'm so glad I could help you out so much.
I can't wait to work with you again and I'm always stoked when I get a message from you, telling me you're happy with my work.
Check out her latest book 'Lawful Overdose', it's awesome. And I'm sure you will fall for Jaxon the way I did.

Thanks to all the other people in my life who believe in me and support me in what I do. It means so much to me.

And thanks in advance to authors who decide to trust me with their work and make my life better every day.

Welcome!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my new blog. I'm an Indie Editor from Germany and studying English at a German College. If you need an editor, proofreader or advice just send me a message and use the contact form on the right side.
I already edited for two authors, but I will tell you more about that in the next posts.

I love to write even though it's not my priority at the moment, that would be editing. I will graduate next year and I'd love to work as an editor/publisher later.

When I don't edit or write, I'm probably reading. My TBR list is longer than any list I ever had.

If you have any question about my work, the way I work or what I charge for editing, please contact me or click on Services. If you still have questions or any offers, contact me.
